Situation

Muircambus Steading is situated in an enviable position in the East Neuk of Fife. It has views, is very sheltered and seems to get more than its fair share of sunshine. Elie is just 2 miles away and it has become a very popular and fashionable residential area.

The principal sport in the area is golf and there is much enthusiasm for all manner of water sports and country pursuits.

As far as schools are concerned the area is well provided for with a primary school in Elie and secondary education available in Anstruther (7 miles) at the Waid Academy. St Andrews has good private education as well as its world famous University.

There are excellent communications along the South Fife Road (A915 and A917) to Kirkcaldy where there is a main line railway station at Markinch (12 miles).

Both Dundee and Edinburgh have airports with regular flights to London and beyond. The hourly bus route between Edinburgh and St. Andrews passes the main entrance.
